Effect of temperature on corrosion behavior of E690 steel in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution

چکیده

Abstract The corrosion behavior of E690 steel in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution at temperatures from 20 °C to 60 was investigated using electrochemical test. morphology characterized SEM and AFM, the layer EDS, Raman spectroscopy XPS. results showed that rate improves with increase temperature. layers are mainly composed α -Fe 2 O 3 , -FeOOH γ -FeOOH. With elevated temperature, content increases, while decreases. mechanisms were briefly discussed.
